Bicycle-Jog Stoller Combo?

I want to take my daughter walking/running with me but we don’t have alot of sidewalks and the sidewalks are not the best. I am looking into a larger bicycle-jog stroller combo so if I ever do start riding my bike she can come with me. But I have two concerns.

1. The bike-jogger trailer combos that I can afford do not come with a suspension system. If this necessary? Can I buy her somekind of padding to go into the trailer?

2. How difficult are they to fold? I live on a second floor apartment and would prefer something easier to carry. The model I was looking at required the wheels to be removed in order to fold. Is this common with bicycle strollers?

I am thinking I could start with a cheap jog stoller and then upgrade to a bicycle stoller in a year or two.

pneumatic tires are suspension enough. You aren’t going to be doing downhill mountain bike racing, so suspension other than wide-ish tires is unnecessary.

removing the wheels is common. don’t worry about it, they are generally quick releases, that take no time at all to remove and put back.

i would go ahead and get something like the burley bicycle stroller and the jogging stroller add on, so you have something for both situations. It would be cheaper in the long run to buy one good product than to buy two.
